Exciting Project with Aldo Giannotti!

Exciting News: CT Arts is excited to collaborate with the acclaimed Vienna-based Italian artist, Aldo Giannotti, and bring his <People Who Own This Artwork > to Hong Kong!

Have you ever dreamed of taking part in the making of an art piece by an acclaimed artist? And even become part of the limited artwork that will be hanging on your wall, as well as the wall of other collectors? Aldo has made this dream come true for you!

This participatory art project originates from Aldo’s will to create a collective portrait of collectors. Using his usual humorous yet analytical approach, he explores the fundamental nature of art collecting and the role of a collector, thereby suggests a new mentality and modus operandi in art collecting.

Aldo Giannotti was born 1977 in Genova/Italy, and have been based in Vienna/Austria since 2000. Aldo is the winner of the first Pomilio Blumm Prize, whose jury was chaired by Michelangelo Pistoletto.

Aldo has been invited to numerous solo and group exhibitions in galleries and established institutions in Europe, including the Albertina, Kunsthalle Vienna, Musa in Vienna, Museum der Moderne Salzburg, Kunsthaus Graz, Museion in Bozen, Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, as well as commissions by international corporations, including Kapsch, Strabag and the Viennese Stock Exchange.

Aldo studied Master Class of Painting with Professor Omar at the Accademia di Belle Arti, Carrara, Italy; Academy of Fine Arts Wimbledon, UK, majoring in video art, and the Akademie der bildenden Künste, Munich, majoring in photography.
