Galen Tse (2010)
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Galen Tse, is a multi-media artist, who works across painting, photography and media art.
Galen’s pinhole photographic work often captures specific moments and places that are neglected in his home city (Hong Kong), thereby depicting nostalgic sentiments. Each piece of his photographic work is an attempt to tell stories that have been forgotten, to re-collect fragments of life that has long been scattered. Each piece seems to be an attempt to claim his space and solitude in an over-crowded city and to hold tight a moment that slips away too fast.
Galen has held both solo and group exhibitions in Hong Kong. His works have been collected by the Hong Kong Heritage Museum and various private and corporate collections.
